The Hotel Janosik is located in the centre of Liptovský Mikuláš, which is famous for its nearby hiking trails, natural monuments, thermal springs and high-quality ski pistes stretching over the slopes of the Low Tatra Mountains. The Hotel Janosik was completely reconstructed in 2006 and it was officially re-opened on 1 July 2007 after 43 years. In the hotel, there are 45 double bedrooms, 5 single bedrooms and 8 suites. The total capacity of the hotel is 115 beds with a possibility of 40 extra beds. Of course, there is also one barrier-free suite. All the rooms are comfortably furnished with modern furniture, equipped with a separate bathroom and toilet, TV – multimedia channel with the possibility of a free access to the Internet, a phone, radio, built-in hair dryer, big mirror and a minibar.
Gastronomy
There is a stylish restaurant available for the guests all day long with the capacity of 120 seats. In the summer, the restaurant offers a possibility of outdoor seating on a terrace with the capacity of 40 seats. The terrace reaches the hotel park. The guests are offered a variety of Slovak and other traditional specialties and also some international cuisine dishes. The rich menu is even enriched with a great choice of Slovak, Czech, Moravian and international wines.
