To The Historic Library Tour Of The Appony Dynasty

The historic library of the Appony dynasty is a unique masterpiece and a treasure hidden inside the hotel grounds. The library offers its visitors historical knowledge in unknown quantities every single sheet of those rare documents and precious books, which are carefully hidden inside the library, have the smell of the past centuries.

Library is known as the most beautiful interior library in Slovakia.

Nitra is one of the oldest cities in Slovakia, which was founded on seven hills. One can say about it, that is a paradise for archaeologists.

The Upper Town Visit
Franciscan Church of St. Peter and Paul with its monastery, Square of Pribina, Square of St. John Paul II, Cathedral of St. Emmeram, Vazul´s Tower, The Casemates, Diocesan Museum

Pedestrian zone, Synagogue, Farská Street, Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, County Square, Town Park

Itinerary

Our Guide will meet you at your hotel in Bratislava in the morning at 8.00am. We will transfer by Minibus to the Nitra town. (60 minutes) After he will take you to visit old town (120 minutes). The traditional Slovak mead wine tasting and hot chocolate is including.

When we finish, we move to see Chateau Appony where is The historic library of the Appony dynasty. Before we will have a lunch at Chateau´s restaurant. Then we continue with excursion of library. Around 1.30pm will be offered to you a free program in about 2 hours which you can spend in Chateau´s Spa or large park.

Estimated time of arrival to Bratislava is 5pm.
