Košice
Was the first European city to obtain its own crest. The city is host to the running of the oldest European marathon. A symbol of Košice is the construction of Gothic Catedral St. Elisabeth, which began in the 14th century and was completed in 1508. St.Elisabeth is the easternmost Gothic cathedral in Europe. You will find it on Main Street at the square formed in the shape of a lens. The main temple of the Košice is Roman Catholic Arcibishopric, the Cathedral has a height of 60 meters, width of 36 meters and the northern tower is 59 meters high.
