Eastern Slovakia Tour from Košice

KOŠICE was the first European city to obtain its crest. The city is the host of the oldest European marathon. A symbol of Košice is the construction of the Gothic Cathedral St. Elisabeth, which began in the 14th century and was completed in 1508.

St.Elisabeth is the easternmost Gothic cathedral in Europe. You will find it on Main Street on the square formed in the shape of a lens. The Cathedral has a height of 60 meters, a width of 36 meters, and the northern tower is 59 meters high.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KOŠICE

Arrival at the airport, meeting with the local guide, transfer to the hotel*** in Košice, welcome drink, overnight

DAY 2: TOUR OF KOŠICE, METROPOLE OF EASTERN SLOVAKIA

After breakfast, a guided tour of Košice and its historical monuments, a visit to the most important places of the city, lunch in the restaurant, beer tasting, departure to Poprad, and accommodation in the hotel*** Poprad

DAY 3: HIGH TATRA MOUNTAINS

After breakfast, departure to the resort Tatranská Lomnica, visit the High Tatras – Skalnaté Pleso, Lomnické Sedlo, Lomnický peak, lunch own, return to Poprad, overnight

DAY 4: DOBŠINSKÁ ICE CAVE - AQUACITY POPRAD

After breakfast, transfer to Dobšiná and a guided visit of the Dobšinská Ice Cave, lunch, return to Poprad, and visit the Aquacity Poprad, overnight

DAY 5: LEVOČA - SPIŠ CASTLE

After breakfast, departure to the medieval town of Levoča, a guided tour of Levoča and its historical monuments, a visit to the most important places of this town, lunch in the restaurant, departure to Spišské Podhradie, a guided visit to the Spiš Castle, return to Poprad, overnight

DAY 6: PIENINY NATIONAL PARK - RAFTING ON THE RIVER DUNAJEC, NESTVILLE PARK

After breakfast, depart for the Pieniny National Park, rafting on the river Dunajec, lunch, departure to Nestville park, a guided visit of the Nestville park, and whisky tasting, return to Poprad, overnight.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

After breakfast, check out and departure
